Since contacting Intertype I have enjoyed thoughtful, helpful, prompt, and friendly service, as though I was dealing with family. This may sound
like I am being paid to write this, but I know, I was both pleased and surprised. For example Intertype suggested adding a couple of blank pages to reach the threshold thickness of a bound volume, releasing me from staples. This is service, attention to a minor order customer. The beauty and professionalism of my first POETRY book brought tears, some left on Ian’s answer service. Looking forward to future projects.

Even though I had some interest in having my manuscript published, I was somewhat generally disappointed with the attitude of the companies that I dealt with. Their attitude was very profit driven and it was all about exploiting rather than adding value to the experience and the community.
Hence, I sought out Intertype as an alternative to taking my work to a possible next step.

I am extremely happy with the presentation of the final product. There are considerable punctuation mistakes, and some paragraphing/formatting issues, but these are my errors.

In the final analysis, I decided to have the document printed without any real editing: not even shallow editing, and now I regret this to an extent… you can’t fix things after the print.

So, I am generally extremely happy with the printing aspect of my work, I think it looks far better than I could have imagined. If I could have my time over again, I would spend a little more money to create a more polished product. If I could provide any suggestion to Ian / Intertype, it would possibly be to ‘encourage/urge’ authors to pay more attention to the final product beyond just printing.
